Abstrak

News is a source of information. Everyone can get news through online and offline media. Online media is more recognized as practical and fast by the public. Therefore, the writer has chosen online media news for data collection. The author presents a news feature with the program name "Wonderland Wonosalam". More specifically, this news is produced by journalists of Jawa Pos Radar Jombang. The writer discussed this final project report with the formulation of the problem: the production process of Wonderland Wonosalam news and the most special characteristic of Wonderland Wonosalam feature news. The purpose of this research is to know the production process of Wonderland Wonosalam news and to know the most special characteristic of "Wonderland Wonosalam" feature news in Radar Jombang. The writer used descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques such as observation, interview, and documentation. The result of this study reviewed that the production process of Wonderland Wonosalam feature news consists of three, namely pre-production, production and post-production. The news anatomy can be found starting from the title or headline, dateline, lead news, body and leg. In addition, the most special characteristics in Wonderland Wonosalam news consist of relatively more flexible, not too straightforward, does not seem stiff, comprehensive, and human interest. Not all characteristics are present in every news, only some components are present in the news. Given that the Wonderland Wonosalam news site is online, it needs to be more varied not only on social media but also on YouTube so that more readers are interested.
